Standard Tree Builder Module (For Dynamics-GP customers)

The XL Reporter (XLR) Standard Tree Builder (STB) is an XL Reporter utility for automating report maintenance and the creation of GL account trees for Dynamics-GP customers. This is a free tool that will build dynamic GL account trees (up to four different trees) for you in XLR. The Standard Tree Builder can also dramatically improve report processing speed, will reduce the time and effort it takes to build financial statements and it will automatically associate new GL accounts created in your ERP system to the appropriate rollup, thereby eliminating the need to maintain trees.

Advanced Tree Builder Module (For Dynamics-GP customers)

The XL Reporter (XLR) Advanced Tree Builder (ATB) is an XL Reporter application for automating report maintenance and creating roll-ups trees. This is a tool that will build dynamic account trees (up to 10 trees) for you in XL Reporter. This tool will also dramatically improve report processing speed, will reduce the time and effort it takes to build financial statements and can automatically associate new GL accounts, created in your ERP system, to the appropriate node, thereby eliminating the need to maintain trees. The ATB can be used with the STB for a total of 14 Trees.

The ATB is an application that automatically populates GL account trees that are stored in XLR tables in the Dynamics-GP SQL database. The STB is a user interface that automatically populates any of the four User Defined Fields (UDFs) in the GL Financial Card of Dynamics-GP.
