How to employ XL Reporter with your existing system
XL Reporter is easy to employ in your organization. Typically, XL Reporter is installed on a server that is connected to or holds your ERP system and database. The users then run the XL Reporter application from their work station and connect to the data in the ERP system. In addition to XL Reporter, the only other application that needs to be installed on a user's PC is Microsoft® Excel.
You can also run XL Reporter from a remote location via the web or Terminal Server/Citrix. You then simply connect to the Internet or your Intranet and run XL Reporter from its current location (the server). This only requires that you have Microsoft® Excel and a web browser installed.
