This module is only applicable if you have created multiple company databases in your Dynamics-GP system. The Global Reports module will let you designate one of your company databases as the “Master database” where you will build and maintain all the report definitions that should be made available in all your other company databases. For example, if you have 15 company databases in your Dynamics-GP system, and you have a P&L report and an AR Aging Report that you want to make available in all the 15 company databases, all you have to do is to put the Reports in the Global Reports folder, and they will immediately become available in all the company databases. In other words, you have completely eliminated the need to import and export report definitions between your company databases, and you can always rest assured that all your companies are always using the same report templates (in addition, different companies can build their own local reports for their company database only).
